As I mentioned, we are now in our own space! I can definitely say picking up after not only yourself, but another person, definitely makes me miss home! ;) Honestly though, I do love sharing my home with my best friend. James owned a house previously, which made things a lot easier when we were getting our own place. He had a lot of furniture already which really made the move less stressful. We moved in on the 31st of December and I successfully unpacked and moved in everything within about 2 or 3 days. It was pretty awesome having everything settled in to ring in the New Year! Below, I'll display some glimpses into my home. Just for an update: my camera lens broke and refuses to focus. My mom bought me a new super zoom lens for Christmas so that's the only one I currently have. It's an incredible lens, but it makes taking normal photos kind of challenging! Alas, enjoy the snapshots of our humble abode!
Well, it has been a year now since my first blog post... Pathetic huh? A lot has happened since my first entry. My boyfriend and I got engaged and married all within a matter of weeks. What a whirlwind! I am now a wife to the most amazing man I know and I am living in a completely different state! We moved up to Utah and are both full time students. I'll be honest, moving up here and getting married was not the plan. Our original plan was for James to move up here and start school and I'd join the following semester. But, after thinking it over I realized how can I spend even more time away from him? The majority of our relationship was stretched over a deployment and I couldn't stand the thought of being a part again! So, I quickly applied for the spring semester and got in! Packing up my things and leaving my family was the hardest thing I had to do. I have never been away from them and this was a huge step for me to make. Thankfully, I had my best friend to hold my hand through it all. James has been such a great supporter. We are living in our own house (which has been more than fun to decorate!) and are living the wonderful married life. I want this blog to really represent me. Photography, fashion, beauty, marriage, and possibly military life will be the basics of this blog. I hope you all enjoy!
