So I am basically smuggling a small watermelon at this point. I am 24 weeks (in normal people terms, 6 months) along and I am just getting bigger and bigger! I have been loving flowy, loose clothing for this pregnancy not only because it looks cute with the bump, but also for major comfort! We just had a doctor's appointment yesterday and she is weighing at a whopping one pound nine ounces. During our first anatomy scan, it was hard for the technician to see a few things so they had us do a redo... Which I'm totally okay with because that means we got to walk away with more pictures of baby girl and see her precious face!
I am loving every second of this pregnancy and I feel like my outfits are so much cuter now as crazy as that sounds. I adore the look of graphic tees paired with flowy, maxi skirts it has the perfect balance of care-free yet put togetherness I love. Also tying shirts up over the belly is a helpful way to show you are pregnant and not like you just ate a few too many slices of pizza. (Totally did, but now I have an excuse!)
Also, I never thought I would be able to find a romper fit this belly! I love rompers for the summertime and I'm so happy I found one that has plenty of room to grow. J and I had a date night to celebrate me finishing my Pharmacy Technician program. I love getting dressed up for our date nights together, and throwing on a printed romper is an easy way to look cute with minimal effort.
My current cravings are: water (yes, still iced cold!), applesauce, Cran Grape juice, milk, and chocolate. I've gained 15 pounds since getting pregnant, which totally makes sense because I'm so weak when it comes to eating! haha The nurse wasn't worried and said I am gaining a perfect amount, but still future Amy is cursing me now for all the sweets I'll have to work off.
Bracelets: Target, Kohls, and Macy's
Lipstick: Mac "Viva Glam Miley"
While I have been on a maternity clothing high, I also wanted to invest in some great summer pieces I can wear pregnant or not! I am loving the current fashion trends, and didn't want to miss out on snagging a few for this summer and the years to come!
My husband and I just started a new budget plan and part of that plan is we only get a certain amount a month to spend on clothing. I made an order on Tobi after falling in love with this dress and ended up adding a few other pieces to my cart (they will be featured soon!). Y'all, their website is so hard to resist and I stayed on budget! I love how youthful and on trend everything is, I tend to dress boring sometimes so I'm excited to add some spice to my closet.
I love this dress because I feel so comfy and it's been challenging lately to fit into my normal clothing with this bump! This past Sunday I almost lost it after not being able to fit into my dress for church, I literally almost had a Hulk moment. This shift dress has so much room in it and it doesn't lift up in the front which is a major plus in my book!
I'm not sure why, but I have been feeling very boho in these past few months, and I'll be honest I'm not complaining. It's probably mainly due to me getting hotter easier and not wanting restricting clothes. Flowy, floral pieces have been my jam! I was kind of down about being pregnant during the heat of summer, but now I'm excited because I have found some great pieces that I can implement and stay fashionable and cool.
You know when you stalk your mailman because you are ever so patiently waiting for your package to come in? Literally me. From the second I ordered this dress from Shop Pink Blush, I immediately went to my closet and started figuring out how I wanted to style it! Y'all know I am a huge Shop Pink Blush fan, especially with their maternity clothing! I am so happy to announce I was invited to be a style ambassador for them, which means a ton of cute looks will be coming your way.

I can't wait to wear this dress to church and it is surprisingly stretchy, so I know I'll get use out of it for the entire pregnancy! It makes my bump look so cute and I love that it accentuates it, without looking too tight and like I'm bursting in it. Their maternity dresses are always such great quality and the perfect length. And y'all... This color is unreal. I love the lavender color, it is so perfect for spring!
This weekend we will be working more on little one's nursery and I'm so excited! Last weekend we painted the walls so I'm excited to work on it more. We also are going to be attending a Rockies game which will be a lot of fun! I'm excited to be getting out more with the weather warming up and attend fun summer activities.
I have so many fun blog posts coming soon and I can't wait for them to be published! I have really enjoyed making motherhood and pregnancy related posts, but I have some amazing military related ones you don't want to miss.
Happy Friday!!! So excited to be ending this week on a positive note and I look forward to this weekend! J will be working on his new old truck with a friend and I plan on getting some much needed house work done! Ever since I started working full time and getting pregnant, I just have no energy and cleaning has been put on the back burner!
It is finally warming up here in Colorado and has been in the high sixties/ seventies all week and it's amazing. I hope it continues to stay warm because I look forward to spending more time outdoors and enjoying the sunshine!
As you know from my last post, I've had a great time buying maternity clothes! I didn't think I would score so many great finds and they have been my primary wardrobe lately. The bump seems to have grown overnight and my pipe dream of wearing my regular clothes until the third trimester have quickly vanished! haha I put together this fun maternity clothing haul and filmed it a few weeks ago, and thought it would be helpful to demonstrate the pieces on too! I hope you really enjoy this video and have a great weekend!
Thank you to Shop Pink Blush Maternity for sending me these pieces for review!
As an avid lover of clothes, I was so excited to start my maternity wardrobe. However, I love sticking to a budget and not splurging too much on clothes; especially because they are typically worn for 9 months. I started looking into different clothing pieces and found three exquisite dresses that not only can I wear throughout this pregnancy in different ways, but also after!
All of these dresses I would deem "must haves" for every first time mom to have in her wardrobe! I have found so many different looks and occasions these are oh so perfect for that I just had to share with all of you. I am so in love with all of these cute maternity dresses and I hope they help give you ideas on what you could pair them up with! Also for size reference, I ordered a small in everything.
I am first going to share this must have, even though it's not one of my three dresses. My husband chose this adorable white and black floral robe and not only do I love wearing it every morning, but it also will be my delivery robe. I love the silky fabric and the wider sleeves, I feel so comfy in it and I love how breathable it is for the summertime!
With our baby being due in August, I knew I would be spending the bulk of this pregnancy in the heat and I kind of got worried to be honest! I was unsure about finding modest clothing pieces that would not only accommodate a growing bump, but also keep me as cool as possible. I also plan to use this robe postpartum and nurse in it while at home.
Casual to Church
With it warming up, it is very tricky to still stay cute but still have modest clothing options! I have been wearing this dress at a minimum of once a week and it is my absolute favorite! I love wearing it out shopping or to run errands because of how stretchy and soft the fabric is.
This is an absolute staple in every expecting mama's closet, because you can literally pair it with anything! On this day I paired it with some ankle peep toe booties, a jean jacket, and a fun felt hat.
You can wear it with sandals, add a cardigan, fun necklace, anything really! I love how stretchy the midsection is because I really wanted pieces I could wear comfortably the entire pregnancy.
To transition this cute maternity dress for church, I paired it with a white denim vest and lace up flats. I like to be comfortable for church and this outfit is perfect by adding that extra layer without being bulky.

Work to Date Night
While I am lucky enough to work from home, we frequently have work meetings and business conferences. This dress was the perfect fit for those video conferences because it looks professional and put together.
I love the wrap detailing and honestly I'm still blown away at how gorgeous this color is! The online photos don't do it justice at all, it is a gorgeous raspberry pink/red color and is perfect for the summer months.
I paired this darling dress with a lace blazer and blush pink flats. This is perfect for those mamas that are also working and need an easy yet comfortable look that is still office appropriate!
I will be wearing this a lot this spring and summer because the fabric is so soft and even with the three quarter sleeves it is very breathable. Also a HUGE bonus about this dress is its nursing friendly!
This is a textbook example of the perfect day to night transitional piece! It is not only work appropriate, but also perfect for date nights or nights on the town! I enjoyed a yummy dinner with my husband and didn't have to worry about feeling bloated (or looking it!) because of how forgiving this dress is.
I can't wait to wear this even after this pregnancy because of how flattering it is. For this look I just paired it with some heels, but you can definitely stick with your flats for comfort.

Maternity Photos to Baby Shower
When I saw this dress online I immediately had a vision and plan for it! My mind went straight to bohemian and I was inspired by the flowy, lace detailing and I knew it would look gorgeous for photos.
My husband captured maternity photos in this beauty and I paired it with a flower crown and some bracelets. While my bump is still growing, I plan on taking some more photos later on! While this dress isn't as stretchy as the other two, you definitely have a lot of room to grow in it.
This dress is such amazing quality and I love the slightly longer train for the hem. The lace collar was such a sweet, delicate touch and I love this dress that much more because of these details!
I will say though, it is a bit long. I am 5'3 and wore heels, so if you are short like me you may want to look into getting it hemmed and taken up a tad. I plan on wearing this for my baby shower in June and thought it would be oh so perfect because it just feels so elegant and made me feel beautiful (which is most important in my opinion)!
