I am participating in 12 Days of Blogmas, where myself and amazing bloggers have teamed up to bring you a blog post every day up to Christmas. What does this mean for you? Not only will you be introduced to 12 amazing bloggers, but there will also be a giveaway EVERY DAY, including Christmas!!!! I will always have the day's giveaway linked below. Also, special thanks to Irresistable Me for providing the hair extensions. All opinions are my own.
Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair! Y'all I feel like a whole new woman with my new Irresistable Me hair extensions! I received them a few days ago and have been wearing them every day since! haha I wanted to showcase a fun hair tutorial featuring them, and this hairstyle was the perfect one because I had a TON of questions asking how to do it! So, you asked and I delivered!
This can be done without extensions (as my original instagram post was just my normal hair), but I love the added length and volume. A review will be coming soon, but for now let's get on with this hair tutorial!
First I started off by french braiding my hair down to my chin level. To french braid, start off with three strands of hair. Cross the outer ones over the middle, then once all have been crossed once, add some hair into that outer piece of hair and continue adding as you are about to cross over the middle. (if this sounds completely crazy, I made a video tutorial that will be down below!)
Once I get to about my chin, I split my braid in half and split down the middle of my hair and separate into two pieces. I now start fishtailing, which is such an easy braid! Usually people do smaller pieces but I like doing it chunkier not only for time convenience, but also because it makes it look thicker.
To fishtail, take an outer piece of one side and cross it under and add it to the other side. Repeat this process by just taking outer pieces and crossing it under to the other section! These extensions are amazing and made the braid appear so much more fuller and because they are 22", I had plenty of length which is something that is usually lost when braiding!
