I am a serial over planner and I am okay with it. I am now 31 weeks and I took this weekend to pack my hospital bag! I have been itching to do it and feel relieved that it is one less thing I'll have to worry about. As a first time mom, I have received mountains of advice on what I should pack, what they wish they would've left, and so on. This is a time that is so specific to you, so pack what you feel you will need at the hospital! I didn't want to pack a whole bunch because that's more stuff we have to carry back home with Baby S in tow. Here are my essentials!
- mini toiletries
-hairbrush and hair ties
- nursing night gown
- delivery/nursing robe c/o Pink Blush Maternity
- tank top
- nursing bra
- lounge pants c/o Pink Blush Maternity
- slippers and socks
- going home outfit
for the stay:
- baby book (to capture hand and foot prints!)
- phone charger
- camera and charger
- washable nipple pads
Here is a free downloadable checklist that you can use to pack your hospital bag! You can download it here:
