How have I been a mom for three months now?!? Seriously time goes by so quickly. Lately I’ve been trying to remind myself to have some me time. Especially now that I’m home with her all day, I quickly forget that I deserve a wardrobe change too ha ha. Shop Pink Blush has been my saving grace for having cute mom clothes. I picked out this sweater and have been wearing it on repeat!
Our new daily routine is so great. Here’s the 411, we spend a lot of time cuddling, eating and sleeping. But somewhere in the mix, possibly early afternoon don’t judge, I finally get ready for the day and it feels oh so good! For all you stay at home mamas: you are doing great. You don’t need to always put makeup on, brush your hair, or get all fancy. Put on that cozy, comfy sweater and leggings and snuggle your babes!
I have recently heard a lot of buzz in mom’s groups about how Stay at Home Moms don’t work. HA! I feel like I am working way more than I did at my full time job. This is a job that doesn’t just turn off and you can step away from your desk at the end of the day. Your boss, albeit is super cute and cuddly, is very demanding and you’re lucky to even get bathroom breaks. I truly don’t understand the strife between working and non working mamas, especially after being on both sides of this coin. Being a stay at home mom now I have a goal to enjoy every day. No, not every day is easy but during the middle of her crying spells I remember how hard I prayed to be holding her. As I said in an earlier post, my life goal was to be a stay at home mom. Now that this is my reality, I am cherishing everyday and feel so empowered. If you’re a mom who’s feeling burnt out, remember how precious this time is with your little one. They will never be this little again and when your kids look back on this time, they are going to feel so blessed they had their mom who chose them over anything else.
