Hello everyone! This past weekend, James and I finally made it back to Utah. We left Thursday and got back late last night. I am beating myself up because I barely took any pictures and my camera just sat in its bag haha. But, we had so much fun and were busy spending quality time with everyone!
I've missed these views so much. I do love Colorado, but I really love Utah! It felt so good to be back and see most of our family and friends. We attended our old ward ( a married student ward) and it was so nice to see everyone and all their babies! I sadly didn't get any pictures with anyone since we were at church and had to leave because James' parents were having a Valentine's dinner at their house.
Pepper loves Summer and she really loves this little mouse that belonged to their cats. She was playing with it all weekend and Summer let her keep it. She is seriously still playing with this little mouse and it looks so real it's crazy!
On Saturday morning we headed up to Logan to eat at Angie's and because James was going to fly. Well... Neither of those things happened! haha. Angie's was packed and it was too overcast for him to fly. So, we went to the brand new Denny's and shopped at the DI after. Sounds boring and all, but after not having my DI fix for three months now has been painful! We stopped by Fanz in the mall as well, because Colorado sports stores do not carry any Utah Jazz things, so we took full advantage of our time here haha. We pretty much bought each other Valentine's gifts here and wore our stuff on Sunday after getting back from church.
He is so handsome! I love taking pictures of him and the one to the right was me "testing out the lighting"... AKA me getting a picture of my husband who dreads photos.
All weekend Pumpkin has been taunting Pepper. Pepper wants to just run up to her and play with her but Pumpkin made sure that did not happen! haha Pumpkin teased Pepper by always coming in the room and sitting close by, but when Pepper comes close to her she hisses and swats at her. The picture to the right I caught her mid-hiss and I think it was so hilarious!
Monday morning, We went to Sill's cafe with John and Summer and had some delicious breakfast! We went home to grab Pepper and then said our goodbyes. It was so sad leaving because we had an awesome weekend with them, full of playing Mexican train, Rumbi, and Battle of the Sexes. I truly hope we can come back very soon because I already miss everyone!
Sorry for such a jumbled post, I just wanted to document the trip and the few photos I took haha. I will be back in the blogging groove on Thursday!
