So I've been eyeing those girls who always post their perfect manicure and think... How? I was recently approached by a super nice woman who told me all about Jamberry. Sure, I've seen the super pushy girls who practically guilt you into buying their product. But, she was nothing like that! She is super nice and sent me two sets of Jamberry nails to try out. So without further ado let's get into it! I decided to edit this and be completely honest with y'all. There will be a part two.
First, I find the wrap that will fit my nail the best. I feel like my thumb was the hardest (as you can see I cut different ones haha)
I pick up the wrap I just cut, using the toothpick and I go grab my blow dryer and heat the nail wraps to stick to my nails better. They have a Jamberry nail heater thing, but since I don't own that, the blow dryer works just fine! Just do it for about 5 seconds.
Next, I place it on my finger using the toothpick. I press down to have it shape my nail, then I use nail clippers to match the shape of my nail underneath. The first time around I used a nail file and it left me with jagged edges, so for me the nail clippers work so much better!
When the full hand is applied, I grab my blow dryer one more time and give it a final heat. I love how these turned out and find nail wraps to be so fun! I know it seems like there is a lot of steps and may seem time consuming... these wraps usually last a few weeks but I've only had it for a weekend, so we will see.
I'll be honest, the first time I used these they turned out to be a disaster. They all fell off within the hour and with the file it just looked so chipped. I consulted with her to see what I was doing wrong and it turned out to be just about everything haha!
The picture to the left was my first attempt and it was pretty sad.
also, the two prints I'm wearing are called the " Matte Black" and "Bumble".
I will be doing an update in the very near future, so when it is up it will be linked here:
