So today's post is all about what is inside my purse! Now, let me be real, it is usually filled with receipts, coupons, and anything else my husband hands me. Since I needed a purse with more space and that I could wear everyday, James bought me this cute one from Charming Charlies for Christmas. So, here are the things I keep in it!
So there's this company that is kind of amazing. It is called Scentbird, a designer perfume subscription website. This perfume is so great for travel or to throw in your purse compared to roller balls or smaller perfume bottles, because it doesn't have a lid, but instead twists up like a lipstick. When you pay $15 a month, you are sent a months worth of perfume that comes inside the black tube shown above. (you get this on your first order to put the months perfume inside!)
I took their quiz and my result was the DKNY Be Delicious. Y'all this perfume smells sweet and perfume-y, I'm glad I got to try this one out.
So if you end up loving that perfume and want to buy a full size bottle, you can buy it and get $15 off... Which basically means you get your month's money back haha. This is such a great idea because it allows you to try out different perfumes without committing just yet! If you wanna try it out, click the button below to get your first month for free.
So this is my absolute favorite wallet, not only because it is cute, but because my husband got it for me during his last deployment. When it is completely open and turned over on its back, it looks like a mini Afghanistan rug. I love the colors in this and it also has a mirror on the inside which comes in handy. Since it is from Afghanistan, I don't think you can buy one online... But, I did find something kind of similar here.
This bag has come in handy so much, and if you don't already have a makeup bag in your purse you should! I always have my red lipsticks because that is just my must have lip color! The red tube is from Rimmel London, and the black from Revlon. I carry around my Maybelline Fit Me Foundation stick because sometimes a girl just needs a little extra coverage! Also, you can never go wrong with a hand sanitizer, mine is fresh sparkling snow from Bath & Body Works that I've had for awhile now.
Deodorant is always great to have when on the go and when I forget to do it when I leave the house (I know, gross but I'm human). I usually have a mini contact lubricant in my bag but I misplaced it, but I have that and my contact case for when I'm out and about. My contacts have dried up or just irritated my eyes to the point where I had to remove them on several occasions, so this is great to keep in my purse.
So the boring stuff haha. I've had this cute little sock coin purse for a long time now, and in the recent years, it has been great to have. Because if you have ever been to a parking garage and realize you don't have a dollar or so, keep some quarters in your purse! Also, if you want a gumball... Boom, you're welcome haha. Headphones are an obvious purse essential because hello, music is great and sometimes you need to listen to your favorite song or a funny video your mom sends you.
Thank you to Scentbird for sending me this product for review. All opinions are my own.
